The words of Jesus Christ are always filled with prophecy.

John 9

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

² And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

³ Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

John 9:7

And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

Jesus told the man to Go and wash.  Is that not the same message Jesus is telling us today?

Current Trends in the American Landscape

1. Finding and pumping more oil.  Specifically shale oil through fracking and horizontal drilling.
2. Going deeper into debt. The slide accelerates.
3. Gun laws and gun control are currently in the news and this is encouraging people to shop for more guns before they get "shut out".
4. This is the first time in my life I can remember the President so thoroughly supported by the media at large.
5. Iran continues it's march toward nuclear weapons.
6. In technology "Smart Phones" have completed their take-over of the traditional cell phone.  Apple, their creator has yet to reveal anything new since Steve Jobs passing.  His successor, Tim Cook continues on the steady course by changing shapes and sizes and updating memory and displays.

Through all these things the Bible continues to inspire.

1. He that hath an ear let him hear.  
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 

Praise the Lord. Another day has come and gone. While another day begins. The Good Lord, Creator of heaven and earth has blessed us all with one more day.

Getting ready for Church - listening to the Reverend James Cleveland.

When I think of the goodness of Jesus.  And all that he's done for me.  My soul cries out Hallelujah.  Praise God for saving me.

I'm gunna be gone. In the twinkling of an eye.  I'm gunna be gone.  Won't have time to say goodbye.  I'm gunna be gone, could be while I'm singin' this song.  I'm gunna be gone and it won't be long I'm gunna be gone.

And declared to be the Son of God with power...


The Son of God with Power.  Jesus is the Son of God.  God manifested in the flesh.  Declared to be by whom? By the Apostles and the Prophets.


I Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.


with power.  What power?  The power to be known throughout the whole world 2011.  The power to restart the worlds calendar on His approximate birthday.  The power to raise people from the dead, literally and figuratively.


1st Chronicles 29:10-12


Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, for ever and ever.


Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.


Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

On a balcony of space stepped a pure and Holy God And in awesome solitude He stood alone. He saw me In His likeness He saw me Just like Him Pure, clean, and Holy Spotless white within. But He saw me bound in heavy chains And longed to set me free But He knew If I became like Him He must become like me. Jesus paid it all All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain He washed it white as snow.

which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
There was a promise made to King David in 2 Samuel Chapter 7

And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever

This is the same seed that was promised to Eve in Genesis Chapter 3

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

This is the same seed that was promised to Abraham.

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

And certainly the same seed promised to David.

12 And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
13 He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
14 I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
